The 2024 Santa Cruz Highball GX AXS is a purpose-built carbon hardtail that delivers modern XC performance with a clean, minimalist edge. Built around Santa Cruz’s Carbon C frame, it balances stiffness and compliance with dropped seatstays and a 27.2mm seatpost to soften trail chatter without compromising power transfer. A RockShox SID SL fork offers 100mm of front travel, while the SRAM Transmission GX Eagle AXS drivetrain provides crisp, wireless 12-speed shifting. The bike rolls on Race Face AR 27 rims, wrapped in Maxxis Rekon Race 29×2.35″ tires for fast-rolling grip. Geometry is thoroughly modern for XC, with a 67° head angle and 73.5° seat tube angle, giving it confident handling on technical climbs and descents alike.
