Any Trail, Any time. The 2019 Scott Genius 940 features an SL6011 aluminum frame with a geometry that’s tuned to balance climbing abilities and descending handling. It features a slacker headtube with a longer reach, shorter chainstays, and a steeper seat angle. Additionally, SCOTT’s TwinLoc Suspension System allows the rider to control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system by changing compression damping and spring curve. Ultimately the ability to switch between modes depending on the trail at the push of a lever results in a faster and more fun ride. A Fox fork and rear shock dish out 150mm of plush front and rear travel, and feature 3 modes: Lockout, Traction Control, and Descend. The 12-speed SRAM Eagle drivetrain provides that “infinite shifting” feel, meaning you’ll have plenty of gearing no matter how steep the trail.
